The Warren Wilson Owls traveled to Winston-Salem, NC to take on the Piedmont International University Bruins and returned home victorious. After a 5-game losing skid the Owls are now on a two game winning streak with 2 game remaining in the semester.
"It was the prettiest game, but we created chaos and were victorious. A double digit win on the road is always a positive, no matter how it looks" stated interim men's head basketball coach Anthony Barringer.
The Owls were led by junior guard Steven Horton Jr., who finished with 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals. The Owls had a balanced attack in the scoring category as they saw 4 players in double figures.
The Owls travel to Charlotte, NC on Sunday, December 13th, to take on NCAA DII Queens University. Tipoff is at 7:00 P.M.
