Jacina Hall takes over in the closing seconds to send the Owls to their second victory.
Warren Wilson and Alice Lloyd battled in an early-season shoot out at Warren Wilson with the Owls coming out on top 75-74 thanks to late heroics from Jacina Hall.
It was a close game throughout. The Eagles held the largest lead at 10 but the Owls went on a 6-0 run just before the half to trip 39-35. Alice Lloyd pushed the lead out to 7 at 48-41 with 16:02 left in the game.
Over the next seven minutes the Owls used a 12-2 run to take the lead at 53-50. The things got interesting in the final 49 seconds the game took on a frantic pace. Jacina Hall hit a three to put the Owls ahead 72-69, followed by an answer from Eagles sharp shooter Amber Shepherd to tie it at 72-72 with 38 seconds.
Eight seconds later Jacina Hall struck again with a layup then 13 seconds later Carla Booth hit a jumper to tie it again at 74-74.
Then with 2.1 seconds Hall was fouled and hit both free-throws to seal the win for Warren Wilson.
Jacina Hall and Lilvia Bradbury each scored 16 to pace the Owls. It was a double-double for Bradbury who also pulled down 10 boards. T'Shea Glen was 5-7 and finished with 14 points. Off the bench Lindsay Bodnar had 11 points.
The Owls outshot the Eagles 41% to 40% and Alice Lloyd went just 5-23 from behind the arc.
