Powell, TN - The men's soccer team lost today 3-4 as they traveled to Crown College. This brings the WWC men's soccer team to an overall record of 1-4 and Crown College to 1-4.
Crown put the first point on the board, followed by a Warren Wilson goal. Crown would score two more before the half ended with a halftime score of 3-1.
The second half led off with a Warren Wilson score closing the gap to 3-2. Crown would go on to score again making it 4-2. The Fighting Owls scored one more before time ran out but that was as close as they would come. The final score was 4-3.
The team's battled back and forth as Warren Wilson's Enrique Timas found the back of the net 3 times to get the hat trick on the day. His first goal came in the 25th minute. The second goal came in the 46th minute. Timas final goal came in the last 10 minutes of the match.
After three straight away games men's soccer finally returns home this Friday, September 13th at 4:00pm to play Toccoa Falls College.
