The Warren Wilson men's basketball team used a 17-2 run to start the second half to hold off Piedmont International 80-62 on Friday night.
The Owls started the second half with just an 8 point advantage but a string of defensive stops extended the lead to as many as 25 points in the second half.
Senior Pat Albright led the way with a season-high 17 points and 6 rebounds. Four other Owls broke into double figures with
Dan Jackson netting 14 and
Rashad Ali,
Anthony Barringer, and
Ty Johnson all adding 10. Barringer also grabbed 12 rebounds.
Warren Wilson will look to even its record with a third straight win on Friday at Hiwassee College.
