Kelii Fish

Kelii Fish is a dedicated and passionate coach committed to helping athletes achieve their dreams. Born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, he moved to the West Valley of Phoenix, Arizona, in 2002. With over a decade of experience in coaching, scouting, and recruiting Kelii has become a trusted advocate for athletes, combining his knowledge of the game with a strong focus on player development.

Kelii’s coaching journey began in 2017 with the girls’ basketball program at Shadow Ridge High School (AZ). In 2018, he moved to Southern California to coach at Yorba Linda High School, an opportunity that soon led to an internship with UCLA Women’s Basketball. There, he gained invaluable experience at the collegiate level before joining Mater Dei High School, one of the nation’s premier athletic programs.

After a year away from coaching, Kelii expanded his expertise by working with E3 Hoops Analytics LLC and the International Sports Academy from April 2020 to August 2021. These roles sharpened his analytical skills and deepened his understanding of athlete performance metrics. He then accepted a position with the University of Valley Forge men’s basketball program in Pennsylvania, where he played a key role in developing student-athletes at the collegiate level.

Most recently, Kelii served as an assistant coach for the Dream City Christian Girls National Team in Arizona (July 2022–February 2023). Recently he worked as a Basketball Scout for Prep Girls Hoops and a Sports Contributor for Baller Tube and Aznextgenathletes. Known for his ability to mentor athletes and instill a winning mindset, he has earned respect as both a coach and a leader within the basketball community.

In addition to coaching, Kelii brings extensive experience as a scout. He has evaluated athletes at multiple levels, producing detailed reports that highlight players’ skill sets, basketball IQ, and character. His work provides coaches with critical insights to identify talent and build cohesive, high-performing teams.

Beyond basketball, Kelii serves as a Behavior Specialist, delivering intensive short-term intervention support for students facing significant challenges. He also equips school staff with effective, student-specific strategies to guide young people through moments of crisis.

Kelii’s dedication to empowering athletes—paired with his unique blend of coaching, scouting, recruiting, and behavioral expertise—makes him an invaluable resource for players striving to reach the next level of their game.
