Warren Wilson College

Originally from Colombia, South America, Jorge Marin has been involved in the triathlon world for over 21 years, beginning as a collegiate athlete. He is a finisher of the prestigious IRONMAN World Championship and has competed at the highest levels of the sport.

Jorge holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Science and began his coaching career as an assistant coach for the triathlon team at Universidad de Antioquia in Medellín. He later founded his own team and has successfully coached athletes of all levels—from amateurs to elites. His athletes, representing multiple countries, have consistently competed on the global triathlon stage, including appearances at both the IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships.
