Reid Jackson joined head coach Rebecca Westfall in her first year as an assistant coach for the Owls in the 2022-23 season. Jackson enjoys a close history with Westfall as she was coached by Westfall at UNC Asheville during the 2014-15 and 2015-16 campaigns. Their shared experience allows them to communicate and coach seamlessly while advocating for personal achievement and mental health.Â

Jackson was a four-year stand-out athlete at UNCA from 2013-2017 and was an essential component of multiple relay school records. As a part of the second-ever graduating class, Jackson had a major impact on the trajectory of the program. At UNC Asheville, Jackson earned CCSA All-Academic four years in a row and was active in the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee serving as its Treasurer and President. She graduated in 2017 with a BS in Health and Wellness Promotion and a BA in Psychology.

Originally from Raleigh, Jackson now calls Arden, NC home where she serves as an insurance agent and risk advisor for the Juengel Agency. She has two dogs, Blu and Storm.
