WILSON, N.C. – The Warren Wilson men's volleyball team dropped a road match at Barton College on Tuesday night (Feb. 25), falling in straight sets (25–11, 25–11, 25–12) inside Wilson Gymnasium.
Warren Wilson was led offensively by Will Bush and Lleyton Starke, who finished with three kills apiece. Kaiyan Ivey paced the Owls' attack with six assists and also recorded a team-high six digs. Gabriel Farrai added one kill, one service ace, and four digs, while Jaime Millan contributed four digs.
At the service line, Warren Wilson earned two aces on the night, with Farrai and Steve Moodie each recording one.
Barton was paced by Hunter Marcantonio with 12 kills while hitting .556, and setter Ian Ford finished with 24 assists. The Bulldogs also found success from the service line with 13 aces as a team.
Warren Wilson will look to build on the road experience as the season continues.
