Women's Basketball Ends Season On High Note, Takes Down Davis College

Uniontown, PA - The Lady Owls ended their 2018-2019 season with a 77-62 win over #7 ranked Davis College. This win improves the Owls to 15-15 on the season.

Danasia Dumas led the Owls for the last time in her career finishing with a double double, 29 points and 10 rebounds. She was followed by Danielle Hinkelman who had 18 points. Kalie Mayo also reached double figures, finishing with 10.

The Owls were hot from the 3pt line shooting 50% and going 9-18. The Owls also were hot on the defensive end forcing Davis into 23 turnovers and had 16 steals.

"I know this wasn't the outcome we hoped for when we arrived on Friday but we finished strong and with a nice win. This is a sad day for Warren Wilson Women's basketball as we lose Danasia Dumas and Amber Godfrey, both of which have helped turn this program around. We are a national force in our league because of them. They have been fun to watch grow in four years! I am so proud of this team and all they have accomplished this season. Only up from here," exclaimed head coach Robin Martin.
