4 In A Row!

Newport News, VA - The Lady Owls extended their win streak to 4 in a row with a 78-62 point win over The Apprentice School.

The Owls shot an impressive 55% from the 3pt line, knocking down 11 3's. This was one of our better offensive nights, not only did we shot well from the 3pt line but we shot 43% from the field as well.

Danielle Hinkelman led the Owls with a career high 19 points. She was followed by Danaisa Dumas, Asia Caldwell and Malaka Elix all who had 11pts.

"This was one of our better offensive nights, not only did we shot well from the 3pt line, but we shot 43% from the field as well. This was our third game in a row and we still managed to put a lot of points on the board. Each game this weekend we were led by a different scorer and that has made us a very dangerous offensive team. We still have work to do defensively but it is finally coming to together more consistently on offense. We had 9 different players score tonight, that speaks volumes about our depth," stated head coach Robin Martin.

The Lady Owls return home January 25th, as they look to sweep the season series with Piedmont International University. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 P.M.
