Warren Wilson Running and Adventure Camp is a Success

Warren Wilson Running and Adventure Camp is a Success
This summer marked the inaugural Warren Wilson Running and Adventure Camp hosted by the WWC Cross Country and Outdoor Programs. There were sixteen campers ranging from ages eleven to sixteen in attendance. Campers were able run on the college trails, climb the climbing wall, and enjoy crate stacking activities. On Friday morning the camp concluded with the Adventure Race which was the highlight of the week for the campers.

"It was the first running camp we've run and it's very gratifying to look back and see how well it went.I enjoyed having the kids running out on the trails with us and how game they were to get into all the different activities and challenges we had for them.  It was really nice on Friday, when we asked them for feedback on their week at camp, to hear how much everyone of them loved the camp. We're looking forward to running the camp again next year and serving a lot more local kids," said Head Cross Country Coach and Outdoor Programs Director Bruce Hills.
