The Warren Wilson swim team lost a dual meet to Transylvania College 123-51 on the women's side and 135-40 on the men's.

The Fighting Owls were led by Amelia Hubbard's victory in the 200 freestyle (2:08.20) and Johnathan Bland's victory in the 100 breaststroke (1:06:81).  Hubbard also set a new varsity record in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:44.72.

The Warren Wilson men's basketball team fell to 5-10 on the season after losses to Berea College (72-47) and NAIA Division I Lindsey Wilson (110-52).

The Owls could not recover after Berea jumped out to an early 37-16 halftime lead behind 15 points off turnovers and 13 points on offensive rebounds.  Jermon Marsh and Chris Nelson each had 12 points to lead  Warren Wilson.

In the second game, the Owls took on #21 ranked Lindsey Wilson and lost 110-52.  Warren Wilson hung on early as they trailed by just four points (19-15) midway through the first half.  The Owls were overmatched against Lindsey Wilson's post players as they were outscored 66-8 in the paint.  Jermon Marsh and Aleks Spasovski led the way for Warren Wilson with 21 and 19 points, respectively. 

The Owls' five wins on the season matches the total number of wins they recorded all of last season.
